Our Chiropractic Practitioners
TRENTON L. SCOTT D.C., DIPL.AC. / AUTHOR / CEO
Dr. Trenton Scott D.C. started his practice in Loveland, Colorado over twenty-five years ago, when he was fresh out of school with a wife, and baby number one on the way. Raised with the mindset that anything can be accomplished with hard work and integrity, Dr. Scott made it a priority to connect with his patients and take care of them like they were part of his own family.
Through careful study of patient cases and treatment success, Dr. Scott quickly understood that the future of musculoskeletal care would depend on the collaboration between all fields, including chiropractic, physical therapy, massage and acupuncture. This approach would later be called a “multimodal approach to healthcare.” Because of the patient success on reported outcomes using this model, Scott Family Health is among the top-rated healthcare facilities in Colorado. The education of future chiropractors and the care of future patients is a top priority for Dr. Scott, who professionally lectures for healthcare companies placing an emphasis on the multimodal approach to healthcare.
Since 2004, Dr. Scott has worked on the medical staff of the Colorado Eagles professional hockey team. He kept the team in good health as they went on to win two Central Hockey League championships and two East Coast Hockey League Championships. He is now working with the American Hockey League and the Colorado Avalanche.
Dr. Scott has been instrumental in building one of the most successful management service organizations (MSOs) in the country for musculoskeletal health called, Colorado Integrative Care Network (CICN). In order to drive collaboration across specialties and positive patient outcomes, Dr. Scott created a diagnosis data capture and professional decision-making software tool called TorrentTM. This tool is helping providers, healthcare companies and patients around the world. The success of these businesses using the TorrentTM model has opened the door for Dr. Scott to consult with companies domestically and internationally to recreate this successful multimodal approach to healthcare.
Dr. Trenton Scott’s mission is:
“Helping you, heal you”
With this mission he promises to give you the most appropriate, most effective and most efficient care you could ever receive. Dr. Scott acknowledges his successes and accolades are a gift from his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

More Than Chiropractic Care: Massage, Acupuncture, and Laser Therapy in Loveland
At Scott Family Health, our approach to healing is collaborative. Chiropractic care is at the heart of what we do, but we also offer massage therapy, acupuncture, and laser therapy to support your recovery and overall wellness. These services can be booked on their own or integrated into your custom treatment plan.
Massage Therapy for Pain Relief and Relaxation
Therapeutic massage is one of the most effective ways to reduce tension, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing process. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or managing chronic pain, our licensed massage therapists work alongside your chiropractor to target areas of tightness and inflammation. Treatments are always tailored to your comfort level, and many patients report better mobility and deeper relaxation after just one session.
Acupuncture for Whole-Body Balance
Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is a safe and natural therapy that helps balance the nervous system, reduce inflammation, and ease pain. At Scott Family Health, our licensed acupuncturists treat a wide range of conditions including migraines, stress, insomnia, digestive concerns, and musculoskeletal pain. Many patients find that adding acupuncture to their care plan enhances the effectiveness of other therapies.
Laser Therapy for Accelerated Healing
Laser therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate tissue repair and reduce pain. It’s a great option for treating soft tissue injuries, inflammation, and joint pain—especially for patients looking for drug-free pain relief. Sessions are quick and painless, and most patients experience a noticeable improvement in comfort and function over the course of their treatments.
Loveland Chiropractic Care FAQs
What conditions do chiropractors commonly treat besides back pain?
Chiropractors treat a wide range of conditions beyond back pain, including neck pain, headaches, migraines, sciatica, joint pain, posture-related issues, sports injuries, and work-related strain. Chiropractic care focuses on how spinal alignment and nervous system function affect overall health, allowing care to address many musculoskeletal and nerve-related concerns.
How do chiropractic adjustments help the nervous system function better?
The spine protects the nervous system, which controls movement, sensation, and organ function. When spinal joints are misaligned or restricted, nerve communication can be disrupted. Chiropractic adjustments restore proper motion and alignment, helping the nervous system communicate more efficiently with the rest of the body.
Is chiropractic care appropriate for desk workers and remote employees?
Yes. Desk workers and remote employees often experience neck pain, low back pain, and tension headaches from prolonged sitting and poor posture. Chiropractic care helps correct spinal stress caused by extended screen time, improves posture, and reduces discomfort associated with sedentary work.
How do chiropractors determine where adjustments are needed?
Chiropractors use a combination of patient history, physical examination, posture analysis, range-of-motion testing, and neurological assessment to identify areas of dysfunction. When necessary, imaging studies may also be reviewed. This thorough approach ensures adjustments are specific and appropriate.
What does a first chiropractic visit typically include?
A first visit usually includes a detailed health history, physical examination, and discussion of symptoms and goals. The chiropractor explains findings and recommends a personalized care plan. Treatment may begin on the first visit, depending on the patient’s condition.
Can chiropractic care help with headaches and migraines?
Yes. Many headaches and migraines are linked to neck tension, spinal misalignment, or posture issues. Chiropractic care addresses these underlying causes by improving spinal alignment and reducing muscle tension, which may help decrease headache frequency and intensity.
How often should I receive chiropractic adjustments for best results?
The frequency of care depends on your condition, lifestyle, and goals. Some patients need short-term care for acute pain, while others benefit from ongoing wellness visits. A chiropractor will recommend a schedule based on your individual needs and response to care.
Is chiropractic care safe for seniors?
Yes. Chiropractic care is safe for seniors when tailored to their specific needs. Gentle techniques are commonly used to improve mobility, reduce stiffness, and support balance. Many older adults choose chiropractic care to stay active and manage age-related joint and spinal changes.
Can chiropractic treatment improve posture and spinal alignment?
Chiropractic care helps improve posture by correcting spinal misalignments and reducing muscle imbalances. Combined with posture education and movement guidance, treatment can support better alignment, reduced strain, and improved overall body mechanics.
What is the difference between chiropractic care and physical therapy?
Chiropractic care focuses on spinal alignment, joint mobility, and nervous system function, while physical therapy emphasizes rehabilitation through exercises and movement retraining. Both approaches can be effective and are sometimes used together, depending on a patient’s needs.
Can chiropractic adjustments help with sciatica symptoms?
Yes. Sciatica is often caused by spinal issues that place pressure on the sciatic nerve. Chiropractic adjustments aim to reduce that pressure, restore proper alignment, and improve movement, which may help relieve leg pain, numbness, and tingling.
Does chiropractic care support recovery after an auto accident?
Chiropractic care is commonly used after auto accidents to address whiplash, back pain, and soft tissue injuries. Early treatment can help restore mobility, reduce inflammation, and prevent long-term complications related to accident injuries.
Are chiropractic adjustments painful?
Most chiropractic adjustments are not painful. Patients may feel pressure or brief discomfort during an adjustment, but many report immediate relief afterward. Chiropractors adjust techniques based on comfort level and individual needs.
How long does it take to notice improvement with chiropractic care?
Some patients notice improvement after the first few visits, while others experience gradual changes over time. Results depend on the severity of the condition, how long it has been present, and consistency with care recommendations.
Can chiropractic care help reduce reliance on pain medication?
Yes. By addressing the underlying cause of pain rather than masking symptoms, chiropractic care may help some patients reduce their reliance on pain medications as part of a broader, non-invasive approach to pain management.
What role does chiropractic care play in long-term wellness?
Chiropractic care supports long-term wellness by maintaining spinal health, promoting mobility, and supporting nervous system function. Many patients choose regular care to help prevent injuries, manage stress on the body, and stay active.
Is chiropractic care effective for neck pain and stiffness?
Yes. Neck pain and stiffness are common reasons people seek chiropractic care. Adjustments help restore movement in the cervical spine, reduce muscle tension, and improve flexibility, leading to reduced discomfort for many patients.
Do chiropractors treat sports-related injuries?
Yes. Chiropractors commonly treat sports-related injuries such as sprains, strains, joint restrictions, and overuse injuries. Care focuses on improving movement, supporting recovery, and reducing the risk of future injury.
What techniques do chiropractors use besides spinal adjustments?
In addition to spinal adjustments, chiropractors may use acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, mobilization techniques, stretching, therapeutic exercises, and posture or ergonomic guidance to support recovery and long-term results.
Can chiropractic care help improve mobility and range of motion?
Yes. Chiropractic care helps restore joint motion and reduce stiffness, which can improve overall mobility and range of motion. This is especially beneficial for patients with chronic tension, past injuries, or age-related joint changes.
